The principal aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design an accommodation facility concept including specific strategies and arrangements meeting the principles of environmental sustainability and green management. Research results obtained from managers of green accommodation were compared to results of other re-sources dealing with the issue. Questions of ecological certification, finance, speci-fic arrangements, barriers, benefits and perspective of guests and staff were examined with regard to green management. One of the findings was current inapplicability of European ecological certification in Czech hotel ma-nagement. The concept takes into account the findings of the research and its ap-plication to the existing accommodation facility helps to understand the costs as-sociated with its realization. Solutions are specific and still applicable for any kind of accommodation facility. Results can be valuable for hotel managers interested in sustainability and efficiency, institutions granting the ecological certification but also for guests and households.
